Flavie Flament (* 2. July 1974 in Valognes , Normandy as Flavie Lecanu ) is a French television and radio host and author .

Life

Flavie Flament is the daughter of the former professional soccer player Jean-Paul Lecanu († 2014). When she was 14, she was named Miss Normandy in a competition . In 1994 she finished her university studies with the DEUG in the subject “Applied Foreign Languages” (Langues étrangères appliquées).

Her television career began as a production assistant on the TV show Frou-Frou on France 2 (then Antenne 2 ). In 1998 she stood in front of the camera as a weather presenter for the pay channel Canal + . In 2000 she presented her first program, Exclusiv , on the largest French television station TF1 . From 2001 to 2005 she was the host of the game show Domino Day (together with Denis Brogniart and Dave ).

Other TV specials and shows followed, such as L'homme le plus drôle de l'année , Les 500 Choristes ensemble , Tube d'un jour, tube de toujours , Sagas , Vis ma Vie and La Chanson de l'année .

In 2009 there was a break with TF1. After completing the filming of the reality soap Love and Bluff presented by Flament (in Germany as Date or Fake? Broadcast by VIVA ), she publicly complained about the poor quality of the production, called it literally "shitty" (merdique) and left the transmitter. After working for the specialty program Jimmy, she ended her television career.

Flavie Flament has been on the radio station RTL since 2011 with the program On est fait pour s'entendre . In the same year she published her first book Les chardons (The Thistles), followed in 2015 by the children's book Lulu la mouette (Lulu the Seagull).

In 2016 Flament published the book La consolation , in which she describes how, at the age of 13, she was raped on the edge of photo shoots by an internationally known photographer. She later mentioned the name of the alleged perpetrator on a talk show. It is said to have been about David Hamilton , who became famous with photos of naked minors. Hamilton denied Flament's allegations. After other alleged victims of the photographer reported, he was found dead and a suicide has not been ruled out.

Flament's two marriages each resulted in a son (* 1995 and * 2004).
