Flensburg court culture
Flensburger Hofkultur is a culture festival in the courtyards of Flensburg's old town. The festival takes place every year in late summer. The program covers many artistic fields from theater , film and readings to jazz and classical music . The individual events use the special ambience of the individual merchants' courtyards in Flensburg's old town .
The festival itself is still relatively young. It was created in 1995 . The aim was on the one hand to upgrade the courtyards of the old town and on the other hand to be able to demonstrate the cultural diversity (including your own city) to the public.
The venues include the courtyard of the small Marienburg , the maritime museum , the Danish library and the courtyards of the Holms and the Rote Straße .
