Florentino Quintanar (born August 21, 1934 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of a striker .

Life

Quintanar began his professional career in the Mexican Primera División 1958/59 with the CD Zacatepec , with which he won the Copa México at the end of the same season .

Even after relegation in 1962, he remained connected to the Cañeros and helped them to the second division championship in the 1962/63 season, which was associated with the immediate return to the Primera División.

Before the 1963/64 season he moved to his "home club" Atlante , for which he was active for two seasons in the Primera División.

Between March 15, 1960, his debut against Brazil (1: 2) and May 16, 1961, his last appearance against Norway (1: 1), Quintanar played four games for the Mexican national team .
