Florian Beckerhoff

Florian Beckerhoff (* 1976 in Zurich ) is a German writer and screenwriter.

Life

Florian Beckerhoff grew up in the former federal capital Bonn . He studied literature at the Free University of Berlin and at the Université Paris 13 , then did his doctorate at the University of Hamburg . At times he was a lecturer at the University of Hamburg. He lives in Berlin. His debut novel Frau Ella was filmed by Markus Goller with Matthias Schweighöfer and Ruth Maria Kubitschek and was released in cinemas in autumn 2013.
