Career

In his youth, Dietz played for TSV Großbardorf and FC Carl Zeiss Jena, where he also had his first appearances in adult football in the Regionalliga Nordost . On July 22, 2017, he made his first appearance in professional football in the game against SV Wehen Wiesbaden , when he came on for Firat Sucsuz in the 57th minute . Dietz played 38 games for FC Carl Zeiss Jena before joining the SV Werder Bremen second team , relegated to the Regionalliga Nord , in May 2018 . Dietz scored three times in 23 games.

Before the 6th match day of the third division 2019/20 season , SpVgg Unterhaching signed the striker and provided him with a three-year contract.
