Florian Hess (born November 10, 1978 in Eberbach ) is a German freestyle Frisbee player and functionary who competes for the SSC Karlsruhe .

Career

Florian Hess was inspired by Jochen Schleicher's Dog Frisbee in the castle garden while studying computer science in Karlsruhe in 2003 . In 2006 he won the European title in the Coop discipline together with Christian Lamred and Antonio Cusma Piccione. Between the two world titles he was from September 2016 to March 2017 world ranking first .

From 2007 to 2019 he was department head in the German Frisbee Sport Association (DFV) , where he represented the interests of the freestyle community. In January 2011 he was one of the 7 founding members of Freestyle Frisbee e. V. In 2014 he created a guideline for the organization of German championships, in which it is recorded which DFV Freestyle Committee decides on the award and its framework conditions.
