The German Frisbeesport Association eV (DFV) is the nationwide main body of the state associations, clubs and individuals of the various disciplines that are practiced with Frisbee in Germany . This includes the sports of Ultimate , Disc Golf and Freestyle Frisbee , which exist as a separate department , as well as other disciplines such as Double Disc Court , Guts , Overall and others. Discdogging is not represented in the DFV . The association was founded in 1990. It consists of over 175 clubs (as of 2020).
Awards and Achievements
- In 2001 and 2005 the DFV was able to send national teams to the World Games in Akita (Japan) and Duisburg.
- In 2011, the DFV from was the Interior Ministry and the DOSB with the German Sports Fair Play award for overall fairness in the team sport Ultimate Frisbee excellent.
