Protected landscape component of the dry slope on the Nuhne
The protected landscape component of the dry slope Auf der Nuhne with 0.91 hectares is located on the eastern edge of the village of Züschen . The area was designated as a protected landscape component (LB) in 2008 when the Winterberg landscape plan was drawn up by the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis . In the south, the LB borders directly on Bundesstraße 236 . The LB is otherwise surrounded by the Winterberg nature reserve .
Area description
It is a steep slope at the confluence of the Brembach valley with the Nuhnetal . The slope is exposed to the south, extremely shallow to surface-free and has loose woody vegetation, interspersed with species-rich fallow fallow land and broom bushes. At its foot directly on the federal highway 236, the slate stands without vegetation. The Nuhnehang represents a special biotope for warm animal and plant species. It is the habitat of the forest lizard .
bid
The commandments were set in the landscape plan:
- “The protected landscape components are to be preserved through suitable maintenance measures, as long as the effort required is justified in consideration of their respective importance for nature and landscape. Such measures consist, in particular, of the professional treatment of damage and wounds, the removal of dead wood, the removal of root brood and (preventive) structural improvements to trees; Such measures are usually not necessary in the field trees, they should then be left to natural development.
