Florian Rudig (born May 1, 1980 in Ehenbichl ) is an Austrian television presenter and event host.

Life

Florian Rudig studied sports and media studies in Innsbruck . During his studies he worked for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation ( ORF ) as a reporter and presenter. In total, he worked for the radio programs Ö1 , Ö2 , Ö3 , FM4 for nine years . In 2014, he moderated the main evening live show YPD-Challenge for ServusTV , in which young people should be given a special opportunity to start their careers.

Together with his brother Tobias, he developed the concept for the animated live marketing of sport, business and lifestyle events (ROODIXX). Florian Rudig is one of them. a. the voice of world and European championships (UEFA Euro 2008, European climbing and handball championships), the Olympic Games in London 2012 (Austria House) and the beach volleyball world tour (USA, Canada, Norway, Croatia, Switzerland, Germany, Austria) . At the Olympic Games in Rio 2016, the two brothers were the official stadium host & DJ of the beach volleyball games (including the finals) at Copacabana.

As a media trainer, Florian Rudig developed and moderated jagdclub.tv, an online live discussion program in which the focus of opinion leaders is asked about their moral content and can be selected by the live stream viewers from the program. The broadcast of the Tyrolean state elections in 2012 reached 20,000 live viewers.

Florian Rudig was the Austrian junior volleyball champion in the hall and on clay.

From November 2014 he was the presenter of the morning program ServusTV Servus am Morgen . From 2015, Florian Rudig also worked as a commentator and presenter in sports at Servus TV (Erzbergrodeo, Red Bull Airrace, Servus Hockey Night). From December 12, 2016 until the end of the season (March 2017), he was the host of the daily evening quiz show Quizmaster . Due to the success of the ratings, he became the new host of the live sports show from ServusTV Sport & Talk from Hangar 7 on March 27, 2017 . In spring 2019 he ended his collaboration with Servus TV and founded his own podcast series ( back room ).
