Florin Piersic (born January 27, 1936 in Cluj ) is a Romanian actor .

Life

Piersic was born in Cluj as the son of a Bukovinian veterinarian. He attended the Bucharest Theater and Film School ( Institutul de Artă Teatrală și Cinematografică "IL Caragiale" ). Piersic played adventurous, but also romantic heroes, especially in action-oriented films, which were often designed as series films. Medieval battle paintings such as “Mihai Viteazul” or the adventures of the “Yellow Rose” are particularly well known.

At the beginning of the 1960s Piersic married the actress Tatiana Iekel , from the marriage the son, Florin Piersic Jr., who is also an actor and author, emerged. His second wife, Anna Széles , also a colleague, moved to Hungary with their son Daniel in 1985 and divorced. In 1993 he married again after a relationship of seven years, again with a colleague, Anna Török .
