The Amapa Airport ( ICAO code : SBAM ) is an airport located in the Brazilian state of Amapa . It is located at an altitude of 14 m AMSL about 7 km northwest of the city of Amapá and thus about 230 km north-northeast of Macapá . In the Brazilian categorization scheme for airports, it is sorted into the group Aeródromos principais (for example: important airports ).

The only runway runs in an approximately southwest-northeast orientation (07/25). It is 7075  ft (2156 m) long and paved. As a navigation aid is a NDB available, an instrument landing system does not exist.
