The Asahikawa Airport ( Jap. 旭川空港 , Asahikawa Kuko ) is a regional airport in the Japanese city of Asahikawa . It is located about 15 kilometers southeast of the city center on the border between Asahikawa and Higashikagura . Asahikawa Airport is a 2nd class airport under Japanese law .
