The Hua Hin Airport ( Thai : ท่าอากาศยาน หัวหิน ; IATA Code : HHQ, ICAO code : VTPH) is a regional airport in Hua Hin , Province of Prachuap Khiri Khan , in central Thailand .

Location and general

The airport is located directly on the coast and on the border of the Prachuap Khiri Khan Province and the Phetchaburi Province . The runway crosses the Thanon Phetkasem by means of a bridge structure.

Airlines and destinations

Hua Hin is currently only served by one airline (Kan Air), there are only three weekly direct connections to Chiang Mai; otherwise only private planes operate inland traffic. The earlier flights to Bangkok and Pattaya have been discontinued.
