The Tengchong Tuofeng Airport ( Chinese 騰衝駝峰機場 / 腾冲驼峰机场 , Pinyin Tengchong Tuofeng Jīchǎng , English Tengchong Tuofeng Airport ) is the airport of the circle Tengchong in the Chinese province of Yunnan . The airport opened in April 2009. It is near Tuofeng Village ( 駝峰 駝峰 / 驼峰 村 ) in Qingshui Township ( 清水 鄉 / 清水 乡 ).
history
Construction work on the airport began in January 2008. In addition to the improved infrastructure of Tengchong, this was also due to the promotion of tourism in the region.
