The Tyumen airport (Roschtschino) ( IATA code : TJM , ICAO : USTR ) is 14 kilometers west of the Russian city of Tyumen .

Tyumen is the home airport of the airline UTair .

Mainly national connections are offered from Tyumen, for example to Moscow , Novosibirsk , Saint Petersburg and Yekaterinburg .

Incidents

On April 2, 2012, an ATR 72 ( registration number VP-BYZ) crashed on UTAir flight 120 at around 7:50 a.m. local time on the way from Tyumen to Surgut about 2.5 kilometers from the airport. The machine came through not removed before the start of icing to a stall . Of the 43 inmates, 33 were killed.
