Cheremshanka Airport
The Cheremshanka Airport ( Russian Аэропорт Черемшанка ) is a regional airport in Krasnoyarsk in Russia . It is located just east of the Jemelyanovo International Airport .
After construction began in 1984, Cheremshanka Airport opened on April 1, 1988. In December 2011 there was a fire in which the main building was so badly damaged that all flights had to be temporarily relocated to Jemelyanovo Airport. In 2012, operations in Cheremshanka were resumed.
