The Yao Airport ( Jap.八尾空港, Yao Kuko) is an airport of the city of Yao in the Japanese prefecture of Osaka , Kansai . It is also a military airfield for the Japanese Air Self-Defense Forces . Several smaller airlines, such as Asahi Airlines and Hankyu Airlines , offer sightseeing and charter flights from here.
It is the only 2nd class airport classified by the Japanese administration that has no scheduled connections .
