The airfield King Field ( English King Field Airfield ; ICAO code LCRE ) is a British military airfield on the Mediterranean island Cyprus . The Royal Air Force uses the base.
The airfield is located in the Souvereign Base Area Dekelia about 22 kilometers east of Larnaka . It was built for the Army Air Corps, possibly around 1960.
