The airfield Ried-Kirchheim is a civil public sports airfield in the Upper Austrian Innviertel . The airfield is located in the municipality of Kirchheim im Innkreis, west of the village, in an area between the Waldzeller Ache and the state road 141 . After the opening in 1960, a grass runway that had been extended several times was available, and in 1987 the asphalt runway was built in its current dimensions. The railway is approved for aircraft up to 5.7 t AUW. The airfield is used by motor planes, motor gliders, gliders, helicopters, UL's and parachutists. There are hangar buildings, a control tower, a gas station and a restaurant on the site.
