Fluid element

This article deals with fluid elements in fluid technology. In fluid mechanics , a fluid element refers to a particle or a material point in the fluid.

In fluid technology, fluid elements are the components of a fluid technology circuit.

Fluid elements include the following actuators and working elements :

• Motor (working machinery)
• pump
• Fittings ( valves )
• cylinder
  • Hydraulic cylinder
  • Pneumatic cylinder
• Filter (fluid technology)
• Volume meter ( water meter )

Also, the fluid transport serving pipelines , fittings , hose couplings and hoses and the various fluid storage are referred to as fluid elements.
