Corridor radio

Floor radio is a slang expression for the informal flow of information within a company , an association or an authority .

The term describes a special form of informal flow of information : In a corridor, information is spread through conversations held there in loosely linked dialogue or in an undirected manner, such as on the radio . The information is passed on not only between the conversation partners, but also unplanned via people who happen to be present and listeners in nearby offices with open doors.

The radio is an important factor in information logistics in a company . In the method of relational coordination , this procedure can be used productively in various work environments.

The planned internal communication , for example via notices on notice boards or an intranet , should be mentioned as a contrast .
