Formule X is a launch - steel roller coaster of the manufacturer Maurer AG in amusement park Drievliet Family Park at The Hague in the Netherlands . The park has a height limit of 15 meters, so this is also the maximum height of the roller coaster. It accelerates from 0 to 70 km / h in 2 seconds and offers a travel time of 47 seconds. The specialty are the railway wagons. In the X-Car developed independently by Maurer , which was used for the first time on the Sky Wheel , the passengers are only secured by a pelvic bracket. Due to the ergonomic shape of the seats, however, overhead elements can easily be passed through. Two of these new types of car are in operation on the roller coaster, which enables a capacity of 650 people per hour.

The drive

The carriages consist of six seats, two in three rows. After leaving the station, the car rolls in the direction of the launch. This is a 22-meter-long LSM drive that accelerates passengers from 0 to 70 km / h in two seconds. The first element is a loop specially designed for the roller coaster . Here it is called a sidewinder because the entrance is inclined and not straight as in a normal loop. This is followed by a steep curve that leads directly into a camelback, which is very flat and therefore offers airtime . The carriage now bends to the left and the rail rises to pass a heartline roll parallel to the station , in which there is so-called hangtime . The passengers are hanging upside down in the hangers. After another inclined left curve, the car turns into an inclined right curve that almost turns the passengers upside down. A little bunny hop follows before the final brake.

It is identical to Crazy Car in Happy Valley , Wuhan .
