Forn Siðr - Asa- og Vanetrosamfundet i Danmark ("Forn Siðr - Asen and Van faith community in Denmark ") is a neo-pagan community for the worship of the gods and powers of the Nordic tradition. Forn Siðr (also Danish den forne sæd ) means "the old custom" or "the old custom" (literally "the firne custom").

Forn Siðr - Asa- og Vanetrosamfundet i Danmark was officially established on November 15, 1997 , and on November 6, 2003 the state recognition was signed by the Danish Ministry of Churches after three years of reflection. The Danish government had recommended a committee of theologians, lawyers and historians for state recognition after Forn Siðr - Asa og Vanetrosamfundet i Danmark laid down and openly stated his four pagan rituals at the turn of the four seasons. This recognition includes, among other things, the right to marry and to set up their own cemeteries. The recognition also gives the community tax breaks. The Danish Church Minister Tove Fergo justified the state recognition with the fact that it would be wrong not to recognize the native religion of the country . It is not up to their ministry to assess the extent to which the followers of Forn Siðr were telling the truth.

The number of members is around 800 (as of 2012). Forn Siðr holds official rituals for the annual festivals and an annual allthing for its members . The old customs include, for example, the rolling of fire wheels for the Yule Festival , the Perchten running , the lighting of Easter fires and the celebration of the midsummer festival .

In 2008 the religious community set up its first own burial site on Assistenskirkegården in Odense .

Forn Siðr - Asa- og Vanetrosamfundet i Danmark is a member of the World Congress of Ethnic Religions (WCER) and maintains close contacts with other neo-pagan organizations.
