The Research on Brandenburg and Prussian History (FBPG) is a biannual historical journal published by historians Wolfgang Neugebauer from Berlin and Frank-Lothar Kroll from Chemnitz on behalf of the Prussian Historical Commission and the Secret State Archives of Prussian Cultural Heritage .

The focus is on research into Brandenburg and Prussian history. Reports on conferences and research, miscommunication and reviews are published in German.

The journal was founded by the historian Johannes Kunisch and has been re-published by Duncker & Humblot in Berlin since 1991 , after it was discontinued in 1944 (first edition 1888). Initially, the magazine was also published by Duncker & Humblot in Leipzig, then from 1923 to 1933 by R. Oldenbourg Verlag in Munich / Berlin and from 1934 to 1944 by the Association for the History of the Mark Brandenburg in Berlin-Dahlem. Furthermore, supplements have been published since 1992.
