The Research Center for International and Interdisciplinary Theology (FIIT; English: "Research Center for International and Interdisciplinary Theology") is a company founded in 2005, University Institute of the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg . At the Institute to participate university professors particularly from the field of Protestant theology, but also in the areas of religious studies , gerontology , musicology , Jewish Studies and Classical Archeology .

The purpose of the institute is to promote critical reflection on the Christian faith, its present-day significance and history - especially through interdisciplinary and international cooperation.
