Fort Lee, Virginia
Fort Lee (Virginia) , until 1941 Camp Lee (Virginia) , is a location ( fort ) of the United States Army in Prince George County , Virginia . In the census-designated place (CDP), 7269 people were counted in the 2000 census. In 2000 the site had a size of 21.6 km². Barracks Commander ( Garrison Commander ) is Colonel Michael G. Morrow.
The fort is the headquarters of the Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM), the US Army Quartermaster Center and School (QMCS), the Army Logistics University (ALU), the US Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), the US Ordnance Center and Schools (OC&S) and the 49th Quartermaster Group (Petroleum and Water; part of FORSCOM ). Fort Lee also houses the US Army Quartermaster Museum and the US Army Women's Museum .
