The Fort Point (English for Fortress tip ) is a rugged, rocky and up to 85  m high headland on the south-western outskirts of Greenwich Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands .

Participants of the British Discovery Investigations notified the formation in 1935 as Castle Rock (English for Castle Rock ), a designation that the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1954 to avoid Namensdopplungen with other objects in Fort Rock changed. In both designations, those involved assumed that it was a rock island. However, aerial photographs from 1956 clearly show that there is a land connection with Greenwich Island, which is why the name has been adapted accordingly.
