Biscione (in German: Large Natter ) is the name of an elongated apartment complex and district of the northern Italian port city of Genoa . It was built in the 1960s on the mountain slopes above the Marassi and Quezzi neighborhoods . The district consists of five apartment blocks, each over 300 meters in length. A church from the 1990s is located within the apartment complex. It was built in the shape of a ship's bow.

The district, which is also called Forte Quezzi , belongs together with San Fruttuoso , Marassi and Quezzi to the Munizip III - Bassa Val Bisagno and has a population of 9283 alone.

The name Biscione, meaning Great Snake, refers to the length of the apartment blocks, which in the complex resemble a long, winding snake. The streets along the apartment blocks are dedicated to four Italian scholars and explorers: Lamberto Loria , Leonardo Fea , Elio Modigliani and Carlo Emery .
