Forum Anders Reisen e. V. (own spelling forum anders reisen ) is a German trade association for tour operators who are committed to sustainable tourism. The registered association based in Hamburg was founded in 1998.

Mission statement and mission

The association has defined the concept of sustainable tourism in a catalog of criteria for its 140 members today. Each association member is obliged to certain criteria of sustainability in the areas of ecology , economy and social affairs to follow. The corporate social responsibility of the company is one of the admission criteria . The members of the trade association go through a two-year, external certification process. Upon successful completion, the companies receive the “TourCert Certification” seal of quality. This project was funded by the German Federal Environment Foundation (DBU).

The association is one of the founders of the organization atmosfair .
