Onkologische Pflege is a German specialist journal that was first published in 2011, at that time under the title "Forum Onkologische Pflege". The specialist journal appears four times a year and is aimed at all nurses in oncology , medical assistants in oncology and pedagogical, psychosocial and scientific people in the context of oncological care, as well as students of nursing science and health sciences . The aim of oncological care is to promote care in oncological care, to further develop the competence of nurses in oncology and to offer a forum for medical professionals who work in outpatient or inpatient oncological facilities.

Oncological Care is the organ of the Conference on Oncological Nursing and Children's Nursing (KOK), a working group of the German Cancer Society. It appears in the independent W. Zuckschwerdt publishing house for medicine and natural sciences in Germering near Munich. Each issue deals with a key topic with around five to six specialist articles. Current topics and practical reports are also published. A topic is dealt with in detail in the advanced training section, while the KOKpedia side effects and KOKpedia drugs series each introduce a side effect and a drug. Reports on congresses, book reviews and an event calendar can also be found in the booklet.

Through the perforation of the pages in the print edition, individual contributions can be separated. Readers can thus create individual collections of important articles for their everyday work.

The editor is Mirko Laux, Kerstin Paradies and Christian Wylegalla. Anne Glöggler is the editorial manager of the publishing house. Oncological Care is available in both print and e-paper.
