Frédéric Diefenthal (born July 26, 1968 in Saint-Mandé , Val-de-Marne ) is a French actor who was best known for films such as Taxi 1 to 4 .

Frédéric left school at the age of 15, after which he worked as a waiter and trained as a hairdresser, before accidentally accompanying a friend to a theater workshop and discovering his passion for acting. He trained as an actor in Paris, then shot for television and became famous for the crime series Le Juge Est Une Femme (1993), in which he got the male lead and became known nationwide. In the cinema, Frédéric has appeared in Claude Zidi's La Totale! (1991) and Malik Chibanes Douce France (1995). In 2000 he starred alongside Richard Anconina in the serial killer thriller Six Pack (directed by Alain Berberian ) . In the summer of 2000 he directed the romantic haunted story Belphégor (director: Jean-Paul Salomé ) alongside Sophie Marceau and Michel Serrault .
