Frédéric Perreten

Frédéric Perreten (born December 30, 1978 in Cusco , Peru ) is a Swiss composer of Peruvian origin. He lives in Berlin .

biography

Frédéric Perreten studied social sciences and sociology at the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva. In 2005/2006 he attended courses at the Geneva Conservatory . In 2009, Perreten completed his bachelor's degree in composition with Xavier Dayer and Eric Gaudibert at the Bern University of the Arts . Until 2011 he studied composition at the Conservatory in Strasbourg with Mark Andre .

In his work, Perreten combines French sound moments with techniques from the tradition of Musique concrète instrumentale by Helmut Lachenmann .
