Frédéric Videau

Frédéric Videau (born August 3, 1964 in Angoulême , France ) is a French screenwriter and film director .

biography

After studying Latin and Greek, Videau studied directing at the renowned Parisian film school La fémis . He then established himself in the film industry with the documentary Les Façons and the two dramas Vacances scolaires and Eux cinq . He made his debut as a director with the Lanspield documentary Le fils de Jean-Claude Videau . He gained greater fame with the drama À moi seule , published in 2012 , with which he was invited to the 2012 Berlinale , where he was awarded the Gilde Film Prize.
