Early dyskinesia
Frühdyskinesien are involuntary movements that are usually under treatment of antidopaminergic drugs (eg. As antipsychotics or antiemetics to prevent vomiting such as metoclopramide and domperidone ) occur. Typical are throat cramps or "mumbling" chewing movements ("rabbit syndrome") and sitting restlessness ( akathisia ). They occur acutely and usually within the first week after the start of treatment, depend on the dose of antidopaminergic medication and can be treated moderately to well with anticholinergics .
