The Fram Islands ( French Îles Fram ) are a group of small rock islands and reef rocks. They are located 3 km north-northwest of Cape Géodésie in the western part of the Géologie archipelago .
Aerial photos of the islands were taken during the US Operation Highjump (1946–1947). French scientists mapped during a research expedition that lasted from 1949 to 1951. They named the islands after the Norwegian research vessel Fram .
