François-Marie-Joseph de La Place
François-Marie-Joseph de La Place (* 1757 in Arras , † 1823 in Paris ) was a French Latinist and Romanist .
life and work
La Place was a teacher at the Lycée Louis-le-Grand in Paris and from 1810 professor of rhetoric at the Sorbonne .
