François Maroldt

François Maroldt (also: "Frunnes"; born March 23, 1952 in Esch an der Alzette ; † November 28, 2017 ) was a Luxembourg teacher and politician .

In Esch-sur-Alzette, he was from September 1999 to May 2000 Alderman and since 1992 a member of the Christian Social People's Party (CSV). From August 3, 2004 to March 31, 2007 he was a CSV member of the Luxembourg parliament .

After studying in Liverpool , he began his professional career as a teacher at the Lycée technique Mathias-Adam (one year) and then at the Lycée technique d'Esch-sur-Alzette and at the Lycée Hubert-Clément in Esch an der Alzette. On April 1, 2007, he became deputy director of the Lycée Hubert-Clément and held this office for eight years.

He was instrumental in the organization of the Flèche du Sud stage race in the Vélo union Esch club .
