Francesco Battocchi (born July 24, 1997 ) is an Italian grass skier . He has been competing in the World Cup since 2012 .
Career
Battocchi's first international competitions were the races of the Junior World Championship 2012 in Burbach, Germany . He crossed the finish line in all races there, but mostly only achieved placements in the rear third. His best result was 18th place in the slalom. Battocchi then took part in FIS races before he started in the World Cup for the first time in San Sicario and Rettenbach . In these four World Cup races he was twice in the top 20, with his best result being 15th in the slalom in Rettenbach. In the overall World Cup of the 2012 season, he finished 42nd.
