Francesco Casaretti

Francesco Casaretti (born October 29, 1939 ) is an Italian writer and director .

Life

Casaretti, who was active as an actor in the early 1960s, appeared in 1969 with the anti-convention film Eat it! (Mangiola!) In which Paolo Villaggio played his first film role. The documentary Kuala Lumpur was released four years later . After a long stay in China , Casaretti devoted himself to spreading Daoism and published several books on it.
