Francesco Crescimone

Francesco Crescimone (* 1937 in Caltagirone , Province of Catania ) is an Italian documentary filmmaker .

Life

Crescimone graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 1964 and then devoted himself to short films (examples are Natale and Labirinto ). In the same year he assisted Giancarlo Zagni ; In 1967 he staged parts of Folco Lulli's Gente d'onore . From 1965 to 1988 he worked intensively on documentaries and other short films. Occasionally he also worked for the theater and on scripts , also for television material, and regularly as an author of prose and poetry, less often as an actor.

In 1992, he directed the three- episode film Iltretico di Antonello about social problems in Sicily .
