Francis Dodoo

Francis Dodoo (born April 13, 1960 in Accra ) is a former Ghanaian athlete. His specialty disciplines were long jump and triple jump. He won the gold medal at the 1987 African Games and silver at the 1992 African Championships. From 1984 to 1996 Dodoo took part in the Olympic Games, his best placing was a 17th place in 1988 .

His best performances were 7.62 meters in the long jump and 17.12 meters in the triple jump . With a height of 1.86 m, his competition weight was 75 kg.

Francis Dodoo currently teaches sociology at Pennsylvania State University .
