Francis Kombe (born December 23, 1985 in Lusaka ) is a Zambian football player . The midfielder was a Zambian international .

Career

He played for Nchanga Rangers FC early in his career . In 2003 he won the Zambian Cup with the Power Dynamos . He then went to South Africa, where he played for Supersport United and the Silver Stars . In 2005 he was banned for one year after a positive doping test . Then he was back with the Power Dynamos, gave a guest appearance at Perlis FA in Malaysia before he was back in South Africa from 2008 to 2010, this time with the Golden Arrows . In 2011 Kombe moved to Finland to join Rovaniemi PS . There he was involved in a match-fixing after a short time and was then banned by FIFA for two years. He then worked in Zambia with Power Dynamos and Nkana FC .

National team

Kombe was appointed to the Zambian national team ten times between 2003 and 2008 and scored one goal.
