Francis Vyvyan Jago Arundell (* 1780 ; † 1846 ) was a British clergyman and explorer. He was the brother-in-law of James Morier .

From 1822 to 1834 he worked as a British chaplain in Smyrna and during this time made two research trips to the ancient places of Asia Minor in 1826 and 1833 . He was particularly interested in the places mentioned in the New Testament , especially the Seven Churches from the Revelation of John .

His travelogues, recorded in two works, are still of great value for archeology and historical topography, as they describe numerous places and monuments that are no longer preserved today.
