Patrick Favre

Patrick Favre (born July 30, 1972 in Aosta ) is a former Italian biathlete .

At the 1997 Biathlon World Championships in Osrblie , Favre won the bronze medal with the Italian relay. Two years later he won the silver medal in the sprint at the 1999 Biathlon World Championships in Kontiolahti . In the 1994/95 season he was second in the overall World Cup behind Jon Åge Tyldum . Patrick Favre took part in the Winter Olympics in 1994 and 1998. In 2001 he ended his career as a biathlete. Favre was a member of the sports promotion group of the Italian Alpini .

From 2012 to 2018 he was the national coach of the Italian biathletes. Since then he has worked as a shooting coach for the French men's team under Vincent Vittoz .
