Francisco Monteiro

Francisco da Costa Monteiro is an East Timorese petroleum expert.

For several years, Monteiro was a government advisor in the “Natural Resources” department in the East Timorese Presidential Office and in the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals .

In 2011, Monteiro was appointed President of the Executive Council of the Timor Gap EP by the government. He held the office until 2020, when he was replaced by his Vice António José Loiola de Sousa .
