Francisco Polvorinos Gomez
Francisco Polvorinos Gómez OMI (born January 29, 1910 in Calaveras de Arriba , † July 24, 1936 in Pozuelo , Madrid ) was a Spanish oblate of the Immaculate Virgin Mary .
Francisco Polvorinos Gómez was arrested on July 22, 1936 as part of the religious persecution in Spain, together with his confreres in their own monastery, and on July 24, 1936, he was executed along with six other oblates.
The beatification of the 22 Spanish Oblate martyrs, including Francisco Polvorinos Gómez, took place on December 17, 2011 in Madrid Cathedral.
