Francisco Ximenes de Texada
Francisco Ximenes de Texada (* 1703 ; † November 9, 1775 in Valletta , Malta ) was the 69th Grand Master of the Order of Malta .
He belonged to the Aragonese tongue of the order before being elected Grand Master on January 28, 1773. During his tenure there was an uprising in Malta in 1775/76 under the leadership of the priest Dun Gaetano Mannarino, whom he had bloodily suppressed. He died in Valletta in 1775 and was buried in St. John's Co-Cathedral .
