Frank-Tilo Becher (born February 7, 1963 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German Protestant pastor and politician ( SPD ).
Life
Becher grew up in Hainstadt near Offenbach. He studied Protestant theology at the universities in Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg. After graduating, he worked as a vicar in Wiesbaden. For a year he moved to New York to join the Lutheran World Federation . He has been pastor since 1994 and dean in Gießen since 2002. Becher has been a member of the SPD since 2017. In the state elections in Hesse in 2018 , he received a mandate in the Hessian state parliament .
