Frank Fisher (ice hockey player)
Franklyn Wood "Frank" Fisher (born May 16, 1907 in Bailieboro , Ontario , † April 23, 1983 in Toronto , Ontario) was a Canadian ice hockey player . At the Olympic Winter Games in 1928 , he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.
Career
Frank Fisher spent part of his career as a hockey player with the Toronto Varsity Grads, with whom he won the Allan Cup , the Canadian amateur championship, in 1927 . The following year he represented Canada with the Varsity Grads at the Winter Olympics. After the end of his career, he worked as a businessman.
International
For Canada , Fisher took part in the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz , where he and his team won the gold medal.
