Frank Friedrich Hoffmann (* 1970 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German organist and church musician .

Life

Frank Friedrich Hoffmann was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1970 and received piano lessons there from Eva-Maria Birke-Steup ( Dr. Hoch's Conservatory Frankfurt am Main) at a young age .

After several years of organ studies with his father Herbert Manfred Hoffmann , he is now the organist of the large organ in the Heiliggeistkirche at the Dominican monastery and the Ev. Festeburg Church in Frankfurt am Main. Numerous engagements as organist and harpsichordist have taken him on concert tours to national and international concert cycles in numerous German cities as well as to France, Italy, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Austria, Finland and Russia. He has worked as an organist and harpsichordist on several CD recordings. There are also radio and television broadcasts.

Since 2004 he has been the director of the Frankfurt Cantata Choir , which was founded in 1952 and now comprises around 80 singers , with which he also travels abroad in addition to various venues in Germany. In addition, he is chairman of the Church Music Association Frankfurt am Main e. V.
